Dr. Angela Falconetti
President, Polk State College
Dr. Angela M. Garcia Falconetti became Polk State College’s fifth president in July 2017. She holds a bachelor’s degree with specializations in Communications and Education Cognate from New York University. She earned a master’s degree and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida with specializations in Instructional Leadership, and Postsecondary Education and Adult Learning.

Chrissanne Long is the CEO of Maximize Digital Media, a digital marketing company specializing in helping small businesses and entrepreneurs with the creation of measurable, meaningful marketing strategies that keep people at the forefront of every campaign, because, as she frequently reminds the team and her clients –

Principal/President, MADE Brands
As President and a Principal of MADE, Michelle brings 25 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry. She received her B.S. in Marketing from University of South Florida. Michelle is currently Board Chair on the Executive Committee for the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce. She was named the first Southeastern University Forum Leader of the Year and received the American Advertising Federation Silver Medal Award for her contributions to the advertising industry and extensive community involvement.
Polk County Commissioner
Dr. Martha Santiago was recently elected to the Polk County Commission, the first Hispanic, and the only woman elected for the Commission. Dr. Santiago is the small business owner of Leadership Consultants, LLC. aspiring to serve others as a leader. Dr. Santiago holds a doctorate from the University of South Florida, a master’s degree from Florida International University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico.
Polk County Clerk Of Courts
Stacy M. Butterfield was elected Polk County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller in August 2012 and re-elected to a second term in 2016. Stacy is the first female elected to serve as Clerk in Polk County.
Clerk Butterfield is a Certified Public Accountant. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida Southern College, where she has also served as an adjunct professor.
Bretta Christakos joined CenterState Bank in 2013 as Vice President and Branch Manager of the Downtown Lakeland office. She was later promoted to Market Manager and currently holds the position as Senior Vice President-Retail Regional Manager for Polk, Hillsborough, Pinellas and Sarasota/Manatee Counties.
Her present role includes Retail Business and Employee Development, Sales Management with a focus on delivering World Class service.

Eliska Poirier is owner and founder of Poirier Designs, which started in 2007 and is now known as Logo Out Loud, an advertising/branding firm.
Eliska earned her B. A. in Business Administration at the University of Mary Washington. She has over 20 years’ experience in sales and marketing.

Emily E. Rogers is an entrepreneur and Managing Director of First Source Consulting, LLC. She has worked as a project consultant on state and local government contracts providing project management, program support and public outreach services. She received a B.A. in political science from Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Emily is current President of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Lakeland Metro Chapter.
